By doing a traceroute or tracert, you can help us diagnose common connectivity issues, and where a fault may exist between you and our services.
Follow the instructions below:
- Click on your start menu and select "Run". Type in "cmd" and press enter.
Note: On Vista and Windows 7 or 8, there may not be a "Run" option. Instead, just click on the start menu and type in "cmd" - A black window will appear. Type in "tracert myhost.nz" and also "tracert yourdomain.co.nz" where yourdomain.co.nz is replaced with your domain url without the http://.
- Click the icon in the top left of the command window
- Scroll down to 'Edit'
- Choose 'Select All'
- Press the 'Enter' key to copy
- Paste the clipboard contents into your email message
