What We Support (Infrastructure)

MyHost is responsible for the health, speed, and security of the "plumbing" that runs your site. This includes:

  • Server Uptime: Ensuring the physical hardware and operating system are running 24/7.
  • Core Services: Maintaining the performance of Apache (Web), MariaDB/MySQL (Database), and Mail servers.
  • Hosting Tools: Providing support for cPanel, MultiPHP Manager and JetBackup.
  • DNS Management: Ensuring our nameservers are responding correctly to global queries.

What Falls Under "User Responsibility" (Applications)

While we provide the platform, the software you choose to install on it (like WordPress, Joomla, or custom PHP code) is managed by you or your developer. Our team cannot provide direct support for:

  • Theme Customization: Adjusting CSS, layouts, or design elements.
  • Plugin Troubleshooting: Resolving conflicts between third-party WordPress plugins.
  • Code Errors: Debugging custom PHP, JavaScript, or database queries.
  • SEO & Marketing: Advice on Google rankings or digital marketing strategies.

How We Can Help

If your website is experiencing an error (like a "500 Internal Server Error"), we are happy to help you identify where the problem lies. We will check the server logs to see if the issue is caused by a server limit or a specific line of code in your application.

Once we identify that an issue is code-related, we will point you toward the relevant error log or documentation so that your developer can apply a fix. This ensures our support team stays focused on keeping the infrastructure fast and stable for everyone.
